Meet Nancy Ziselman

Nancy Ziselman is an experienced college counselor with a passion for helping students and families with every aspect of the college admission process.  For eight years, Nancy had the privilege of working in one of the most selective New York City High Schools where she advised more than two thousand students as a college and academic guidance counselor. In this comprehensive role, she analyzed admissions outcomes, including the factors that mattered most in helping students gain admission to their top choice schools.

 

Nancy prides herself in her ability to help students showcase their individual strengths in their applications while helping them connect with the colleges that will best meet their academic and career goals. Most importantly, Nancy is skilled at easing the anxiety of parents and students while they embark on the exciting journey of choosing a college. Her enthusiasm for guiding students has led her to private practice, where she now focuses all of her energy on helping her clients navigate the complex aspects of the college admissions process.

 

Nancy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Brandeis University and her Master’s degree in Counseling from Fordham University.  She stays informed of best practices in college admission through professional development, touring colleges, and participation in events sponsored by professional organizations including NACAC, IECA, and HECA.
